Airdrie United 0 Queen of the South 1

After last week's gubbing by Falkirk and the departure of Scott Wilson to Clyde the natives were not exactly freindly at todays game. The back 4 had changes with McManus at right back and looked the part until the clash of heads which was worrying at the time and thankfully both McGowan and Lovering are on the mend. Paul Lovering has a hair line fracture of his cheekbone but has been released from hospital. Neil McGowan has been kept in for observation.

Barkley and Wilson were the replacements and this led to Doc moving to right back. The new defence were not even settled when QOS broke away to score the games only goal which looked a dodgy call from the linesman( w"nker).

The team tried and failed to adapt today, although lack of effort was not an issue, lack of ideas up front and the service our forwards got today was poor.

I'll put this one done to a bit of bad luck cos it was a fairly even game.

You can if you like discuss it on the messageboard.
