Veteran striker Owen Coyle was the hero for Airdrie once again as his goal in the dying seconds gave the home side a 2-1 win over Ross County.

Willie McLaren had opened the scoring for United after 42 minutes, finishing from close range following Andy Gow's flick-on.

County were level shortly after when David Winters tucked Sean Kilgannon's cross away.

With a draw on the cards, the ball fell to Coyle after a struggle in the six yard box and he slotted home to seal the win.
