Airdrie Utd 1-3 Livingston- Match Report

No home comforts for Diamonds

Airdrie slipped to their fifth straight home loss as Livingston came from behind to win 3-1.

The Diamonds had conceded 14 goals in their last three league games prior to this meeting, but they took the lead after 20 minutes when Paul Di Giacomo tapped home after John Boyle's shot had come back off a post.

But Livi were level just five minutes later as Anthony Andreu's corner was volleyed home at the near post by Marc McNulty.

Livingston's goalscorer missed a good chance to put them ahead prior to the interval before Iain Russell squandered another opportunity for the visitors.

Andreu hit the post with a fizzing effort from distance just after the break, but Livi's renewed pressure finally told just after the hour when Liam Fox curled in a sumptuous free-kick.

With three minutes to go Russell was upended by Chris O'Neil in the box, and the striker dusted himself down to convert the penalty and help Livingston extend their unbeaten run to five games.
