Airdrie Utd 3-3 Dunfermline- Match Report

Kirk steers Dunfermline to point

Andrew Kirk scored a last-gasp leveller as Dunfermline came from behind to draw 3-3 with Airdrie.

Basement club Airdrie took the lead against the run of play when Nathan Blockley got on the end of William McLaren's cross to head home from close range in the 11th minute.

The Pars got back into the game in the 22nd minute when Stephen Husband's sensational 25-yard free-kick found the top corner.

The hosts went 2-1 up in the 53rd minute when Ryan Donnelly scored his sixth goal of the season from close range.

And Jimmy Boyle's men thought they had recorded their first win since January 12 when McLaren curled the ball into the bottom corner from 12 yards out to make it 3-1 in the 85th minute.

Dunfermline striker Ryan Wallace gave his side hope when he slammed the ball home from 30 yards one minute later before Kirk fired in from close range in injury time to salvage a point.
