Graham helps Raith to win

Brian Graham's 11th goal of the season helped move Raith up to third in the table with a 2-0 defeat of Airdrie.

Graham's header gave the hosts the lead on 37 minutes before Craig Spence slotted home to wrap up the points seven minutes from time.

Airdrie's Kenny Arthur was called upon to deny Pat Clarke early on, while at the other end David McGurn was also in action, comfortably dealing with Ryan Donnelly's 20-yard volley.

McGurn was then forced to parry Michael Hart's testing shot from distance.

Raith took the lead shortly before half-time when Graham headed Joe Hamill's cross into the roof of the net.

Graham then went close with another header after the restart.

And on 83 minutes Spence was on hand to convert Allan Walker's cross to ensure all three points would be staying at Stark's Park.
