View from the St. Mirren end.

Right off, I was mightly relieved at the end.

St. Mirren started like every home team should do and go after the game from the start. They had all of the game until about 10 minutes before half time. The goal they scored was down to the pressure they had us under and this reflected the fact that our defence was panicy at times. After half an hour we came back into it winning a few corners and putting them under a bit of pressure. They were the ones glad of the whistle at half time.

Second half was one way traffic with St. Mirren content to hit us on the break. We did the usaul huffing and puffing to no avail until Sandy Stewart at last grew a set of balls and took Coyle off. The threat on their goal was now greater and was rewarded with a well deserved equaliser.

Funny thing I noticed, sitting watching an Airdrie game in the away end is the total oppisite view they had of events on the park!! They booed, although a bit half heartedly at the end, yet we all agreed the ref was shyte.

Good day out and a point well deserved.
